Plain English version: You can use this. It's not legal or financial advice. We don't promise the math is right for your situation. Don't sue us. If you hate it, ask for a refund within 30 days and we'll give you one.

1. What this is

One Page Case ("we", "us") is a web app that helps you model the financial impact of a divorce — custody time, transportation burden, support payments, and long-term projections. It's a calculator with opinions, not a professional service. One Page Case is owned and operated by Golden Data LLC — that's also the merchant name you'll see on the Stripe checkout page and your receipt.

2. Not legal or financial advice

Nothing in this app, anything it outputs, or anything we say anywhere is legal advice, financial advice, tax advice, accounting advice, or therapy. Talk to a licensed attorney, CPA, financial planner, or therapist for those. We are not any of those things. We are barely holding it together.

3. Your data

Today: your app data (custody schedule, income, support amounts, projector scenarios) lives in your browser's localStorage on your device. We don't upload it to our servers for free use. Coming for Pro: an optional login and encrypted cloud backup so you can restore on another device — not live yet. See the Privacy Policy for details on what is true today versus planned.

4. Payment and "Pro"

Prepared Parent (also called Pro) is a one-time $49 purchase via Stripe. We never see your card information.

Free: model one editable current situation on this device — including custody time, driving burden, entered support amounts, and long-term cost — and screenshot what you see. Free does not include PDF downloads or a Markdown export of your case data. Free case data stays in browser localStorage unless you export or share it after upgrading.

Prepared Parent / Pro features sold today: clean PDF downloads (one-page Case Summary and the full packet, including a Financial Declaration and settlement proposal) with Rango branding, a Markdown case export suitable for a personal agent, up to five named proposals, side-by-side comparison, the Property & Settlement workspace, shareable backup links, and copying/exports. Pro entitlement is stored in your browser's localStorage and verified against Stripe; if you clear browser data or switch devices, use Restore Pro with the email you paid with (or contact us if that fails).

Pro core promise going forward (not shipped yet): optional account login plus encrypted cloud backup so you can come back on another device and restore your case. Buying Pro today unlocks the Prepared Parent features above; it does not yet enable cloud sync. When encrypted backup ships, it remains optional and is described in the Privacy Policy.

5. Refunds

30 days, no questions asked. Email us and we'll refund you. We'd rather you walk away happy than stay grudgingly.

6. No warranty

The app is provided "as is" and "as available". We don't warrant that it's error-free, accurate, fit for your specific legal situation, or will continue to exist tomorrow. Use your judgment. Double-check numbers that matter.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us (which, for most users, is $0; for Prepared Parent users, is $49).

8. Acceptable use

Don't: (a) try to reverse-engineer the app, (b) use it to harm or harass anyone, (c) scrape or automate interactions with it, (d) pretend you built it. Do: use it for your own financial planning.

9. Intellectual property

The app — including the name "One Page Case", the design, the copy, and the code — is ours. The data you enter is yours. Pro unlocks a license to use the premium features; it doesn't transfer ownership of anything.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. If we make a meaningful change, we'll note it at the top of this page. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration or small claims court, at our option.
